Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and efficient Homecare Medicines Administrator to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Homecare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the processing of prescriptions and invoices for our patients with chronic long-term conditions.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess strong communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with patients, clinical teams, and homecare providers.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including access to our occupational health services, comprehensive pension scheme, and staff discounts on shopping and leisure options.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Homecare team
* Process prescriptions and invoices for patients with chronic long-term conditions
* Build positive relationships with patients, clinical teams, and homecare providers
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and invoices passed to the pharmacy finance team
* Participate in order processing, matching invoices and credit notes, and ensuring prices charged are correct
* Ensure discrepancies/non-compliance with homecare deliveries are investigated and errors recorded
