Lettings Manager Role

Magnus James, a specialist recruiter for the property industry, is seeking a driven Lettings Manager to join a thriving independent Estate Agency in a key location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and explore innovative strategies to increase overall lettings business
  • Attend and instruct lettings valuations, ensuring accurate and efficient property assessments
  • Oversee an extensive portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance and effective management
  • Lead the onboarding process for new stock, ensuring seamless integration into the portfolio
  • Anticipate business needs and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Develop and train a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement
  • Support and guide the team to achieve personal and branch key goals, recognizing individual and team achievements
  • Review, analyze, and improve processes and procedures to optimize team and branch performance
  • Cultivate and nurture long-lasting relationships with landlords and key stakeholders
  • Provide regular profit and loss reports, as well as forecasting and strategic insights

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Lettings Manager or Assistant Lettings Manager
  • ARLA qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of lettings legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with negotiation and man management experience
  • Proven track record in driving business growth, managing risk, and generating new business
  • Property management experience is desirable, with a strong knowledge of the lettings process
  • Able to motivate, manage, and lead by example, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
