We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Aspens Services Ltd. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team in providing excellent food and service to our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served to students and staff.
  • Work on the tills during service, providing excellent customer service and handling cash transactions with accuracy.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide a friendly and polite service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience for students and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is essential.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Hygiene level 2 certification is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is required.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • A 16-hour per week contract, working 38 weeks per year based on term time.
