Job Description

**Job Title:** Product Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Coordinator to join our team at Uniting People. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information, data sheets, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate and record information gathered from internal product testing and trials, ensuring effective and accurate documentation and communication.
  • Ensure all product information, data sheets, and technical documentation are logically stored, up-to-date, accurate, and accessible within the Technical Department.
  • Produce project specification proposals, test reports, site visit reports, with supplementary calculations and details.
  • Provide technical support to direct customers, clients, and internal team members.
  • Assist in practical testing to develop and improve products and systems.
  • In conjunction with the technical team, develop and maintain an understanding of products and services to answer technical queries both externally and internally.
  • Foster customer service, technical excellence, and risk minimization.
  • In conjunction with the technical team, maintain an understanding of manufacturer, contractor, and other competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, systems, and technologies.
Requirements:
  • GCSE/O Level English & Maths Grade C/4 essential.
  • Graduate with a degree in Architectural Technologist or Product Design or a similar degree.
  • Construction background or with a construction-related qualification would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a technical role preferred.
  • Experience of writing technical specifications preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
