Perinatal Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced counsellor to join our Perinatal service, providing support to parents and families expecting a child or with a child under the age of three.
About the RoleThis volunteering opportunity is ideal for a counsellor looking to gain further experience in Perinatal care. As a Perinatal Counsellor, you will deliver counselling and therapy sessions, keeping client notes up-to-date. We hope that volunteers will see a minimum of 2 clients a week and stay with us for one year or longer, post training and induction.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver counselling/therapy sessions and maintain accurate client records
- Participate in monthly in-house peer reflective practice and attend external individual supervision
- Be a member of a recognised professional body (e.g. BACP; COSCA, HCPC)
- Adhere to CrossReach's Christian Ethos and values
