We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently.

 

The successful candidate will have a valid UK Category C Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI card, and experience driving four, six or eight wheelers. In addition, you will undergo full week of paid training, depending on your experience, as well as Health and Safety training.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving/operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Delivering Cash and Carry Goods to customers
  • Multi-Drop
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Handling cash payments
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Valid CPC and DIGI card
  • Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers
