We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Installation Manager to join our CV Library team in Scarborough.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Installation Manager to oversee and coordinate the mechanical aspects of installation works on nominated projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to high-quality standards and safety regulations.
This position comes with a competitive market-related salary, estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes a company van, 33 days holiday, Medicash Scheme, Pension Scheme, Gym & Retail Discounts, X2 Life Assurance, and Cycle to work scheme.
The Mechanical Installation Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of mechanical engineers on-site.
- Coordinating and overseeing all mechanical activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Providing expert guidance and support in the installation of mechanical systems, pumps, pipelines, and related equipment.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical activities within the broader project scope.
- Maintaining accurate records of work activities, equipment maintenance, and project milestones, contributing to comprehensive project documentation.
To be successful in this role, the Mechanical Installation Manager will require:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role overseeing mechanical installations on robust M&E projects, preferably in healthcare environments or similarly complex environments.
- Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC, or a related discipline is desirable. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience and qualifications.
