We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological therapies to older adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to older adults with dementia and complex mental health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct complex assessments and provide expert advice to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on psychological therapies and mental health.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to mental health services.
- Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or DCounsPsy).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with older adults with dementia and complex mental health needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
