- Lead a team of support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the shift.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to identify changes in health and well-being.
- Develop and implement Person-Centred Plans to meet the unique needs of each customer.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
