Ramsden Hall Academy is a specialist residential school focused on serving the educational, social, and emotional needs of young boys aged 10 to 16 with SEMH requirements.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Residential Night Awake Worker to become part of our committed team. Our residential program boasts an outstanding Ofsted rating, while our overall school rating stands at Good.

In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with the school staff to create and execute a holistic 24-hour curriculum, catering to the unique needs of each student. Key responsibilities include interacting with students, assisting with their morning routines, and facilitating positive relationships built on trust and understanding.

This position emphasizes the importance of engaging students in meaningful activities designed to foster learning, build confidence, and promote self-regulation. As part of this role, you will be expected to contribute to general student supervision, enforce acceptable standards of behavior, and provide sensitive care within a secure and supportive environment.

You will also be required to participate in residential holidays and drive students as needed. Furthermore, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing placement plans, risk assessments, activity schedules, and progress reports when necessary.

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per year.
