About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Dietitian Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dietitian to provide high-quality care to patients with eating disorders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess a strong understanding of eating disorders in children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage complex caseloads, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver expert nutritional advice and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy eating habits and weight management.
  • Conduct pre-admission screenings, assessments, and treatment planning, ensuring seamless care transitions.
  • Liaise with the catering department to review menus, portion sizes, and special diets, ensuring patient needs are met.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
  • BSc in Dietetics or postgraduate diploma in Dietetics.
  • Post-qualification training and experience working with patients with eating disorders, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:
  • An annual salary of £50,000.
  • The equivalent of 33 days annual leave, plus your birthday off.
