Account Development Manager

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is a leading biotechnology company that offers a unique opportunity for a highly skilled Account Development Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing new business and growth accounts to achieve sales order and revenue targets. This will involve executing company tactics to build a sales funnel through focused customer calls and contacts, as well as managing incoming sales leads and nurturing them to conversion.
We offer a competitive estimated salary of £55,000 per annum, plus bonuses, pension contributions, private healthcare, and other excellent benefits.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Oxford Nanopore was founded in 2005 as a spin-out from the University of Oxford and has since grown to become a global leader in its field. Our office is situated in beautiful landscaped surroundings, providing a wonderful working environment.
In this role, you will work closely with our marketing and communication teams to develop and implement sales campaigns and commercial intelligence using our CRM (Salesforce.com).
