Innovation Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Montessori Nursery Manager to lead our client's established setting in Ruislip, Pinner. The nursery will operate 51 weeks a year, from 8am - 6pm, adopting the Montessori method to provide children with the best start in life.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the internal organisation, management, and control of the nursery school. As a supernumerary, you will lead the team of teachers to deliver outstanding teaching following the Montessori method, ensuring the business model is sustainable and profitable.
Requirements:
- A Montessori International Diploma (preferred)
- A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
- A valid Food Hygiene certificate
- A valid Safeguarding Lead certificate
- A valid SENDCO certificate
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Substantial post-qualifying experience of working with children aged 2-5 in a Montessori setting
- Experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
- Experience of working in partnership with parents
- General computer literacy and a range of IT skills
- Experience of OFSTED inspections or other inspections/legal bodies and their requirements within day care on non-domestic premises
- Understanding and knowledge of the local community
- Knowledge of child development and meeting children's needs
- Sound knowledge of the Montessori method
As part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in our care, the successful candidate is expected to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
