  • Produce periodic management reports detailing progress, milestones, cost to date and to completion.
  • Manage the change control procedure, ensuring revisions are agreed by project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain work and resource plans, which predict and track utilisation and forecast skillset shortages.
  • Transition IT services into operational use, through application of effective controls, project management, and overall work and resource planning and management.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery through establishment of policies and procedures that support IT strategy, operational and business change requirements, and mitigate risk to the availability, security, and compliance of IT services.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure that testing, user acceptance, and configuration management are aligned in all release and deployment activities.
  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective handover of services.
Skills:

  • Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and plan and organise personal workload to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 5+ years of broad experience derived from managing multiple significant infrastructure projects and programmes, and be able to demonstrate management of teams taking projects from idea through to implementation and acceptance into service in an enterprise environment.

  • Produce and maintain work and resource plans.
  • Forecast specific skillset shortages and adjust overall plans to mitigate wherever possible.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure that testing, user acceptance, and configuration management are aligned in all release and deployment activities.
  • Work and resource plans provide better forecasting with the ability to identify and resolve skillset shortages ahead of requirement.
  • Optimised use of resource with reduced instances of underutilisation or over commitment.
Business Engagement:
  • Work with stakeholders to identify forthcoming project requirements and any interrelationships with current or in progress projects.
