About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Licensing Manager to join our team at Hearst UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in growing mutual revenue and profit growth for Hearst and its most important Licensees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a robust revenue and profit growth strategy for each licensee through the contract period, working closely with the Director of Licensing.
  • Build trusted relationships with around 40+ personnel in various positions within our partner groups.
  • Ensure all key minutes and actions following partner meetings are documented, shared, and followed up with all key stakeholders within 48 hours.
  • Deliver new product ranges, range refreshes, packaging designs, and sales collateral across existing product categories, working closely with operational key stakeholders.
  • Manage internal approval processes behind product, packaging, and sales collateral proposed by the licensee, adhering to Hearst brand style guidelines.
  • Create sales and marketing campaigns around product launches and seasonal peaks, making the most effective use of budget.
  • Work in collaboration with the editorial and creative teams on content, photography shoots, and sales collateral.
  • Maximise discoverability of our brands within Licensee marketing campaigns through non-Hearst channels.
  • Make regular in-store visits and report back on quality of in-store execution and staff knowledge of our brands.
  • Expand each partnership into new product categories across more Hearst brands and collaborate with the Hearst Commercial Team on advertising commitments.
  • Ensure contractual deliverables are met by both Hearst and each Licensee, managing contract reviews, negotiations, and renewals.
  • Set and manage quarterly business reviews with senior stakeholders and ensure all actions are followed up on.
  • Manage the sales and revenue forecast, creating KPIs to measure success and prove marketing effectiveness.
  • Create annual satisfaction surveys to measure the satisfaction of both the licensee and Hearst.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Licensing Manager who has a proven track record of success in partnership management of major blue-chip brands. You will have the ability to research macro and micro-economic factors and translate these into business opportunities.

You will be a strong relationship builder and problem solver, with excellent communication and presentation skills. You will be able to think strategically and execute operationally at a senior level, with a passion for home and interiors.
