Infection Prevention Nurse Opportunity

Nuffield Health, a leading healthcare charity, seeks an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse to join its team at Warwickshire Hospital.

This role offers the chance to work in infection prevention and control, managing daily activities and collaborating with the Director of Clinical Services.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can carry out investigations, root cause analysis, and advise clinical teams.

The ideal candidate will have post-registration experience (at least two years) in infection prevention and control and be registered with the appropriate governing body.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with lead microbiologists and support the Director of Clinical Services as the DIPC
  • Manage infection prevention audit schedules and lead the infection prevention link team
  • Develop annual infection prevention programs and train clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Facilitate quality assurance reviews and produce annual infection prevention reports
  • Assist in policy development, implementing action plans, and promoting best practices
  • Support clinical governance in the hospital

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of up to £43,250.00 pro rata, depending on experience, along with other benefits.
