We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a specialist in Flood Risk Assessment and Surface Water Management, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects
  • Develop Surface Water Management Plans and Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies
  • Design Residential Drainage and Sewerage Systems using AutoCAD and Microdrainage
  • Perform Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working in a UK-based consultancy or local authority
  • Strong knowledge of Flood Risk Assessment and Surface Water Management principles
  • Proficiency in Microdrainage and Infodrainage software
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
