Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to manage our Industrial Refrigeration service business in the North Region.

This role involves delivering engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses on various equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits.
  • Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover in normal working hours.
  • Support out-of-hours works by being part of a standby rota.
  • Observe internal and client support functions to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Ensure commercial awareness and business system compliance at all times.
  • Responsible for the quality of each engineering task, ensuring all practices are followed.
  • Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector.

Demonstrate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the role.

Successfully completed a recognised training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.

Good base knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.

Experience of large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding skills for various installations.

Experience on refrigeration compressors, including Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
