Clinical Nurse Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for Oncology to join our team at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
As a Nurse Practitioner for Oncology, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound assessments and management, explaining complex oncological treatments, and holding telephone consultations with patients. You will also undertake treatment summaries and participate in telephone triage clinics.
You will work closely with consultants, radiography staff, oncologists, and pathology staff to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients and their families. Your expertise will help to streamline clinic workflows, reduce waiting times, and improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering educational programmes for healthcare professionals, patients, and carers
- Providing expert advice on breast cancer management and treatment options
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and access to ongoing education and training opportunities.
