Job Opportunity: Charge Nurse - Acute Cardiology and General Medicine

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Acute Cardiology and General Medicine, with a commitment to patient-centred care and effective team working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurse team in driving forward change within Ward 21 (CCU) and Ward 23.
  • Ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
  • Support with capacity and flow to ensure timely access to the Cardiology floor.

Requirements:

  • Post-registration experience within an acute clinical setting.
  • Leadership knowledge and awareness.
  • Understanding of the complexities of caring for individuals with acute and chronic Cardiology and Medical illnesses.
