Horticulture Training Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Horticulture Trainer to join our education team at HMYOI Wetherby. As a Horticulture Trainer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering vocational training programs that meet the needs of our young people.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in Horticulture and be able to demonstrate a commitment to teaching and learning. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.


Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum


Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver vocational training programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new training initiatives

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (TAQA)
  • Subject-specific qualification to allow training to Level 3 within 2 years
  • Hold at least a Level 1 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
