Job Overview

Luton Bennett is a leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, offering comprehensive training and support to its employees. We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer (Field) to join our team in Leicester.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Leicester. This is a great opportunity for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, and cleaning equipment, as well as vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

Requirements:

  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • IT literate
