About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Weymouth, working with an individual who requires 24-hour support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the individual's tracheostomy and assisting with daily living tasks, providing a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and housekeeping.
  • Manage the individual's tracheostomy and assist with clinical tasks as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting the individual's independence and well-being.
  • Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times, adhering to care plans and guidelines provided.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members, respecting confidentiality and privacy.
  • Aid with light household chores, including cooking and cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs, working collaboratively as part of a team.
