Laboratory Analyst

Zest is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely sample analysis to uphold the highest standards of product safety and quality.

• Perform ICP testing and analysis on food industry samples.
• Prepare and process samples in line with established protocols and procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including ICP spectrometers.
• Accurately interpret and report test results.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed and precise laboratory records.
• Work with team members to improve testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to routine laboratory maintenance and quality control activities.

• Experience or knowledge of ICP testing methods and techniques.
• A degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
