Multi-Trade Chargehand

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Chargehand to join our dynamic response repairs team in the Midlands region, covering Cherwell. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Service Delivery Manager in the day-to-day running of our responsive team, ensuring targets are met and work is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Service Delivery Manager with daily tasks and operational planning
- Ensure all team members meet their targets and deadlines
- Provide on-the-ground support to tradespeople, troubleshooting and offering guidance as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
- Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and overall service delivery management
- Act as a point of contact between the team and the Service Delivery Manager
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality and compliance of all work performed
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as reporting, record-keeping, and communication
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core, or currently undertaking the qualification
- Significant social housing experience
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills
- Ability to analyse and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
- Basic skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Full valid UK driving licence
