Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at TBA Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning automation systems and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test PLC software using Siemens (Step 7 Classic and TIA) and Rockwell (RS Logix 5000 and/or Studio 5000) platforms.
  • Work with legacy control systems such as Modicon, Siemens S5, or Schneider PL7.
  • Design and develop HMI applications and electrical control systems.
  • Produce electrical drawings using Eplan.
  • Specify and procure hardware components.
  • Configure and troubleshoot automation software-related issues in warehouse and ports environments.
  • Maintain and improve code quality and processes within an Agile framework.
  • Perform onsite commissioning and minor electrical panel modifications.
Requirements
  • Experience with automation systems and projects, particularly with Siemens or Rockwell platforms.
  • Proficiency in IEC61131 programming, with emphasis on Function Block (FBD), ladder logic (LAD), and structured text (ST/SCL).
  • Knowledge of C, C++, or C# programming languages is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with database systems or structured query language is an advantage.
  • Panel wiring experience is a plus.
