Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Safety and Communications business, you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect equipment to customers, completing relevant checks and administration
  • Ensure safe and professional driving practices, conducting vehicle safety checks
  • Issue safety and communication equipment and materials to clients onsite
  • Demonstrate safety equipment in operation to customers during delivery
  • Diagnose and fix equipment as needed
  • Adhere to and promote Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards
  • Maintain effective relationships with the Operations team
  • Undertake pre-hire checks and functionality tests to support the branch
  • Ensure accurate reporting and administration in line with Company standards
  • Achieve key performance indicators in a fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure to maintain Company standards, ensuring safe practices
  • Promote Rentals services and benefits to clients, identifying additional revenue opportunities
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and to satisfaction
  • Conduct audit and compliance tasks
Requirements:
  • Fully competent driver with a clean driving license
  • C1E license desirable, but minimum requirement is 3.5 Tonne (Class B)
  • Good communication skills, ability to influence and represent the Company positively
  • Numerate, articulate, and detail-oriented
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and late finishes
  • Safety-first approach, compliance with H&S legislation and Company policies
  • Previous experience in Safety and Communication desirable, but training will be provided
  • Experience in developing product knowledge, eager to understand our product range
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Computer literate, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
