Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth management of medicines within our hospital.
About You- You should be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have excellent knowledge of their Codes of Conduct.
- A strong understanding of maths and English is essential, with GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- You will need to be proficient in using a PC, including software and systems, and have experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational, and governance-based medicine management service. This includes procuring and receiving medicines, topping up and distributing them to various areas of the hospital, and managing stock levels. You will also provide a dispensing service for medicines that may be required and ensure accurate and timely charging.
Benefits Package- Competitive starting salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service
