Bus Driver Trainee Opportunity

At First Bus, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bus Driver Trainee. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in our comprehensive training programme, which includes online and face-to-face workshops delivered by industry experts and our specialist training partners.
  • Gain a First Bus – level 2 bus driving apprenticeship and a nationally recognised qualification in Maths & English (if required).
  • Develop your customer service skills and gain exposure to incident management, safeguarding, and other essential areas of bus driving.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have lived in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK for at least the three years.
  • Be flexible to work on a rota / shift basis, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
