As a key member of the financial team, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and take a lead on all aspects of accounting including reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and analysis. This varied accounting role offers finance professionals who are part-qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience an excellent opportunity to add value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records throughout the year
  • Maximise company cashflow
  • Provide a high level of service provision to internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce clear monthly reports based on financial year with insightful commentary on variance analysis compared to budget
  • Report on both cashflow and profitability basis of various entities within the group
  • Review current financial processes, systems and controls and make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies
  • Perform financial analysis to help manage the business and aid key business decisions
  • Manage costs throughout the year
  • Work with other accountants within the team to strive for best practice
  • Support the Financial Controller during the annual audit and assist with ad-hoc projects and duties
  • Support and mentor junior finance team members

To Succeed in this Role:

  • You will need experience in a similar position as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience
  • Strong MS Excel and financial systems experience
  • Key attention to detail
  • Proactive and analytical working approach
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence both financial and non-financial management

This fast-paced Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner role offers a salary between £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, dependent on experience, for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire.
