About this Opportunity

We are seeking an outstanding Maths tutor to join our team and teach GCSE and Functional Skills, as well as SEND classes. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching innovative and inclusive English sessions to adult learners and be able to plan, develop and deliver courses effectively with competent IT skills.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 as a minimum) and be willing to work towards Level 4 or above; a subject specific qualification or equivalent industry experience and Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Maths to adult learners, including GCSE and Functional Skills, and SEND classes.
  • To plan, develop and deliver courses effectively, using innovative and inclusive methods.
  • To maintain a flexible approach to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 as a minimum) and willingness to work towards Level 4 or above.
  • A subject specific qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Competent IT skills.
