1st Team Assistant Coach

City Football Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1st Team Assistant Coach to join our team.
We are offering an estimated annual salary of £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the environment and development of athletes within our squad, allowing them to play the best football of their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, delivering, and reviewing world-class training sessions that deliver against the Man City playing style and game model
- Ensuring the technical and tactical development of the team is maximised, alongside individual players in line with Individual Development Plans (IPDs)
- Contributing to our talent identification programme to support the building and maintenance of a winning team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for a coach with a UEFA A licence, experience working as an elite-level coach within professional football, and a sound understanding of the Man City playing style and game model.
Other key requirements include:
- Proven experience planning, delivering, and reviewing comprehensive and challenging training programmes in an elite football environment
- Able to work quickly and calmly under pressure, adapting to rapidly changing demands and environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex strategies with clarity and simplicity
