Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our team at Postify Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic gas boilers and heating systems, as well as plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and replace domestic gas systems to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and repair gas systems with a focus on first-time fixes.
  • Service gas equipment to extend its lifespan and ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all work is of the highest quality and meets customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong work ethic, with a focus on self-motivation and time management.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers through effective communication and customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Hold relevant Gas Qualifications, including CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, and ACS.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the domestic gas field, including 1st and 2nd fixing.
  • Experience with Air Source heat pumps is preferred but not essential.
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hold a full and clean driving license.
  • Be IT competent and able to pass a DBS check.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • LPG, CKR1, CONGLP1LAV, CONGLP1PD, and CONGLP1RPH qualifications are desirable but not essential.
