Arriva UK Bus Ltd, a leading passenger transport service provider in Europe, is seeking an experienced Road Safety Risk Manager to join its UK Health, Safety, Environment and Risk business team in the North East Area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Arriva's Bus Road Safety Risk Management strategy and risk policies. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement action plans to reduce road safety risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of UK Bus National road safety policy and standards
  • Driving a culture of safety at all levels through communication and training
  • Producing in-depth analysis on incident topics, ascertaining trends by location/type, to create and continue with action plans

A valid UK driving licence is required, and experience in developing, implementing and maintaining organisational health and safety management systems is essential. The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
