About the Role:
The Technical Director for Semiconductor Software will be responsible for leading the development of Host support software for our new silicon products. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned software engineer to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the company's success.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Linux Kernel and Userspace driver design experience, as well as experience in debugging at application, driver, and hardware levels. You should also be familiar with high-speed signalling technologies and have knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP & Ethernet.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of Host support software for new silicon products
• Collaborate with IC design experts to integrate with silicon development
• Design and implement Linux Kernel Drivers and support SDKs
• Define and implement Infrastructure for Host driver development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
• Several years of experience in Linux Kernel and Userspace driver design and implementation
• Memory and Cache Management experience
• Familiarity with high-speed signalling technologies
• Debugging at application, driver, and hardware levels
• Knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP & Ethernet

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 - £110,000 per annum depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and flexible working hours.
