Join our team at Academics as a Behaviour Intervention Assistant and play a crucial role in supporting children with ADHD and/or Autism.

This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in behaviour intervention, while making a real difference in the lives of our students.

As a Behaviour Intervention Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing behaviour intervention plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students
  • Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson plans for students with additional needs
  • Liaising with parents and carers to ensure consistent support
  • Contributing to the development of school policies and procedures

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of grade (9-4) A*-C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience in behaviour support, either personal or professional
  • Eligibility to work with children (not on the barred list)
  • A DBS check (Academics can support with the application process)

This role offers a competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
