We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of health and safety responsibilities across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and effective operational health and safety support and advice to the business unit.
• Implement and ensure compliance with all legal requirements, Kier Group's SHEA IMS, Client requirements, and best practices.
• Conduct regular and robust health and safety inspections and audits.
• Manage the reporting and review of SHEA accidents/incidents on the contract.
• Ensure all new starters are appropriately inducted.
Requirements:
• NEBOSH Certificate (Construction) or equivalent qualification.
• Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above).
• Experience working in a similar role within the construction/highways industry.
Salary: £45,000 per annum
