Second Engineer (Marine) Role

We are seeking a skilled Second Engineer (Marine) to join our crew onboard a traditional 317kw diesel engine motor vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, as well as providing technical support to the Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of the vessel's diesel engine and associated systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks as required
  • Monitor and control the vessel's speed and course, ensuring safe navigation and efficient fuel consumption
  • Collaborate with the deck crew to ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers and cargo
Requirements:
  • Second Engineer (Marine) certification
  • Experience working on diesel engine motor vessels
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
