As a Field Research Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering practical research for a range of agricultural and horticultural crops. Your work will focus on disciplines such as pathology, physiology, entomology, soils, and nutrients, and weeds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement on-site trials to test hypotheses and gather data.
  • Develop and maintain specialist technical expertise to deliver high-quality research and knowledge exchange.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage projects to ensure key objectives and deadlines are met, while maintaining high levels of scientific credibility and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct field and laboratory work, including sampling, data collection, and analysis.
Person Specification:
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A full driving license to drive manual vehicles in the UK is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A progressive attitude with flexibility and willingness to take on a wide range of challenges.
