We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CGI Artist to join our team in Gaydon. As a Senior CGI Artist, you will be responsible for generating high-quality 3D visualisation models and ensuring they comply with our creative and technical standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation image creation and retouching, as well as expertise in building and maintaining complex shading networks. You will also have a solid understanding of real-world materials, energy conserving principles, and physically based rendering and shader models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex shading networks
  • Capture physical references for digital reproduction
  • Create accurate and complex digital textures and materials
  • Work with the Tech and Data Hub Model Production team to deliver high-quality 3D visualisation models

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in texturing and material/shader creation within the CGI industry
  • Expert understanding of real-world materials, energy conserving principles, and physically based rendering and shader models
  • Experience working with VRay renderer, Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite, and Substance Designer
  • Strong understanding of 3D model topology and UV mapping with UDIM
  • Knowledge of MS Office365 and MaterialX

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
