Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mears Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing costs and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Collate and issue tender packs for subcontractor work packages
- Negotiate and analyze subcontractor tender returns
- Produce tender analysis for subcontract work packages
- Complete subcontract orders and variations
- Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
- Prepare and issue monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers
- HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent
- Experience working within the construction industry for a social housing contractor
- Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong mathematical ability
- Ability to assess and analyze information
- Good business sense
- Good understanding of budget management
- Negotiating and networking skills
- Enthusiasm and flexibility
