About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Assistant to join our team. As a Business Support Assistant, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of a range of corporate services, projects, and events across Wessex to meet the innovation adoption agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the corporate and programme functions across the organisation.
- Organise and manage meetings, events, and projects, including face-to-face, virtual, or hybrid events.
- Develop and maintain record-keeping systems and procedures.
- Produce accurate records of meetings and actions.
- Design and produce visually appealing, branded documentation using software such as Canva or Adobe.

Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
- Evidence of ongoing personal development.
- High level of competency in IT, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Experience of organising and managing meetings, events, and projects.
- Ability to use initiative, understand personal accountability, and develop and maintain record-keeping systems and procedures.
