Job Summary
Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team as part of a large tier one main contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience working on rail infrastructure projects, specifically with signalling, track, or electrification.
About the Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring it stays within budget and adheres to set timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor project costs, including forecasting, invoicing, and payment tracking
- Maintain accurate records and reports, highlighting any discrepancies or areas of improvement
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Analyse data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., quantity surveying, construction management, engineering)
- At least 7 years of experience in rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on signalling, track, or electrification
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, contracts, and financial management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
