**Job Title:** Senior Commercial Content Manager

Job Summary:

Arsenal Football Club is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Content Manager to drive the development and execution of strategic content initiatives that generate commercial returns and engagement for the club.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the creation of commercial content, operating model, and distribution to 3rd party media partners.
  • Develop the club's commercial content strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and existing content and brand strategies.
  • Lead the creation of partner content, overseeing internal teams and external vendors on production, and working with Content counterparts on distribution.
  • Drive direct revenue generation through media rights and other sources across digital and broadcast environments.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Marketing teams to ensure best-in-class execution of partner inventory, in line with the club's positioning and tone of voice.
  • Support Commercial teams across the full lifecycle of partners, delivering value-adding propositions that meet strategic objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the budget for Commercial Content sub-unit, including all P&L for partner and media rights activities.
  • Work closely with Commercial stakeholder groups to support commercial objectives and activations.
  • Provide positive leadership, role modeling the True Gunner model, and supporting the Content and broader Commercial strategy.
  • Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) through the club's internal programmes, attending external workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Oversee the development of performance reporting for content and activation, enabling and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Qualifications:

**Experience and Background:**

  • Experience in developing content and media strategies that generate direct revenues and media value.
  • Strategic experience in global media distribution and exploitation of rights.
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading the delivery of best-in-class commercial output for high-profile brands and/or rightsholders.
  • Background in an agency or client-side role, preferably with some level of the sports and/or media industry involvement.
  • Line management experience, delivering results as a team and leading and empowering individuals to succeed and grow in their career.
  • Thorough understanding and experience of the production process, involved in complex shoots that include high-profile protagonists.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management tools, value benchmarking, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital environment, an expert in content innovation, digital platforms, and commercial activation.
