Job Title: Editorial Technician

ITV Studios is seeking a highly skilled Editorial Technician to join our team. As an Editorial Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client-focused support and services to productions using ITV Technology's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide media management and perform or support editing processes.
  • Utilize current broadcast equipment in conjunction with emerging IT technologies.
  • Support the wider post-production department with a focus on operational efficiency and business targets.
  • Assist senior members of the department in their roles and develop less senior members of the technical team.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, Avid Media Composer, broadcast standards, and file formats.
  • Highly proficient with broadcast IT and broadcast equipment, NLEs, DAWs, GFX software, transcoders, standards converters, etc.
  • Vision and hearing capable of discerning video and audio quality to broadcast standards.
