About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Integrative Psychotherapist to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in South West London. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality treatment to patients with a range of mental health conditions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychotherapy and experience working with patients with complex mental health needs. You will be responsible for delivering 1:1 and group therapy sessions, as well as engaging in key work to support patients with their onward treatment planning.

We are looking for a therapist who is able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with patients, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure patients receive required treatment and funding is in place
  • Hold a caseload of patients and deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions
  • Engage in key work to support patients with their treatment planning
  • Liaise with Consultant Psychiatrists and keep them updated on patient progress
  • Work closely with the Therapy Lead and Business Manager to communicate entry points to referrers
  • Record comprehensive and accurate information, including risk assessments and clinical notes
  • Support Therapy Administration and patients with funding and seek support from the MDT as needed
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Full Membership with BACP, UKCP, or NCPS
  • Experience in key working and case management
  • Ability to deliver group and 1:1 therapy sessions
  • Confidence using multiple modalities to adapt to changing patient populations
