Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Howells Solutions Limited in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day cost control, monitoring, and reporting.

This role requires a commercial professional with experience in social housing refurbishment programs, knowledge of planned maintenance programs, and excellent client relationship skills.

  • Control all expenditure to ensure value for money and financial assessments
  • Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts
  • On-board subcontractors/suppliers and manage day-to-day cost control and monitoring

The ideal candidate will have experience in planned maintenance and voids, hold a degree or technical qualification, and possess strong commercial awareness and negotiating skills.

Salary and Benefits:
