About the Role

We are recruiting a Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in sleep and non-invasive ventilation within respiratory medicine.

The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team at Bristol Royal Infirmary, providing care for patients at the Bristol Sleep and Home Ventilation Unit. Your responsibilities will include reviewing patients, participating in MDT meetings, and contributing to training junior medical staff.

Key Duties:

  • Review patients in sleep and NIV clinics
  • Undertake inpatient reviews of home NIV patients
  • Participate in weekly sleep and NIV MDT meetings
  • Contribute to training junior medical staff

Person Specification:

  • Experience in respiratory medicine and acute medical specialties
  • Demonstrates an understanding of clinical governance
  • Demonstrates good clinical judgement
  • Evidence of a formal training course in teaching methods
