We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic Kitchen team at The Retreat, Elcot Park in West Berkshire.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our Kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure impeccable standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in the Kitchen and its equipment.
  • Undertake all duties as directed by the Senior Kitchen/Chef on duty to maintain the cleanliness and correct storage of the Kitchen.
  • Adhere to and follow precisely weekly and monthly cleaning duties' lists as directed by Senior Kitchen/Chef on duty.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • Assist with deliveries into the Kitchen, storing items as necessary.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with procedure, ensuring bin areas and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensure floors are cleaned at appropriate intervals during the day.
