The Child Vulnerability and Exploitation Team (CVET) at West Yorkshire Police is seeking a skilled Safeguarding Clerical Officer to join their dedicated team.

As a Safeguarding Clerical Officer, you will be an integral part of the team overseeing the management and safeguarding of young people who are vulnerable to Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).

Your key responsibilities will include liaising with Social Care and other agencies to ensure information is shared appropriately, researching police systems to gather relevant information, and presenting it clearly. You will also be responsible for typing up intelligence reports and recording crime occurrences.

The successful candidate will be motivated, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision. This is a part-time permanent post of 18.5 hours, with the opportunity to work in a job share arrangement.
